Hey there cowboy

I bought a camera! Which means hopefully, better photo's and more posts! Wooh!
Firstly, spurred on by Peg's Challenge, and need to FINISH THINGS, I started something new and made this, to use up some of my scraps. This is the scraps of the other scrap pink/black/white quilt I made not that long ago. Which means this is a scrap scrap quilt - made from the scraps of a quilt made from the scraps of another quilt... Confusing I know. But thankfully, due to the pieced back, there will hopefully not be many more pink and black quilts around here for a while.

Another thing I started was this. I didn't do anything major for it obviously, only learned how to baste, I'm just hand quilting around the shapes. That's right! Hand quilting. The fabric is from the range Two Young Street by Prints Charming, and the back is one of my most favourite fabrics by Phillip Jacobs- I'll have to take a picture of it.
And a nice close up shot to show off my fab new camera

And then finally, tomorrow I am attending a class by Cara Gulatti so this little pile of Kaffe's, Phillip Jacob's and black and white fabric will hopefully be turned into something 3D explosiony.
Also, I made a flickr account, but have no idea how to use the photo's I have uploaded in my blog, or how to put the little bar down the side. If anyone can help me please let me know!
